Hello, team; I’m super loving your new Canvas feature! I’d like to follow up on this 22Dec-23Feb Forum about making Canvas searchable in Global Search.
Will y’all kindly link me an existing bug/FR to follow or kindly consider making Canvas groups searchable?
Example comparison:
- A) text within cards is global searchable
- B) text within group title is not global searchable
Proposed solution
Kindly make Canvas group titles searchable. In the above example (B), results would return for thisDoesNotSearch.
Current workaround (optional)
I’ve been creating a card directly under the group title to duplicate the group title where I repeatedly need to find those titles.
Alternatively, if you already know the search is a group title within the current Canvas, you can use the Canvas: jump to group command.
Related feature requests (optional)
Not overlapping but similar is Local Canvas Search which would also want to search group titles.
