You keep saying database but I think you mean vault.
Anyway, there is certainty a a big language barrier here.
I think you mean what you mean is:
“When the vault is located in a network share, links to files that Obsidian doesn’t manage internally do not work.”
We will look into that. If you have a different problem, then I don’t know.
