External Images via http don't display in publish

Not sure if this is a bug or a feature request - the issue was previously resolved for Android but not for Obsidian Publish.

I’m trying to include some photos in my published website using Obsidian Publish. The photos are on my home server. I embed them using ![poster|200](http://mywebsite.ca/MediaCovers/2DaysInParis2007.jpg) and they appear fine in my vault as well as in Android, but they do not appear in Publish.

They didn’t used to appear in Android. I posted about it and it was fixed (see link above). It was a matter of accepting urls that began with http as well as https.

I’m hoping the same fix could be implemented for Obsidian Publish.

We can’t fix that. It’s your browser that’s blocking the requests and mobile browser have decided to deprecate http. At a certain point, desktop browser will follow too.

Whitenoise, ok, thanks for the quick reply.
I guess I’ll be spending the next few days trying to figure out this certificate business
