Error 153 when Embedding Youtube Videos

Error 153
Video player configuration error

Getting this error today

@aidenlx if you don’t mind me asking, what was the potential issue?

Basically it’s about misconfigured embed player. I’ve updated the troubleshooting guide to include staus update and an method to mitigate the issue for advanced users who want to get it working before the patch landed in obsidian release:

I tried the youtube-nocookie and still I get the same error.

  1. I restarted the Obisidian
  2. restarted after clearing cache and network cache
  3. I still get the same issue.

Obsidian 1.9.14 on mac and windows and it did not make any difference, I still see the same 153 error and practically notes on videos are broken

Confirm this will be fixed in v1.10.3. No ETAs.

Hi team,
Could we please get an update or a beta version that includes a fix for this error? It’s been around for about three days now, and it’s been affecting my workflow. I’d really appreciate any update or workaround in the meantime.
Thanks for your continued support!

I notices the same issue in Logseq, so it’s not an Obsidian issue.

This may or not be helpful, but I have noticed that the error behavior is different base on Editing vs Reading modes:
