Deleting original attachment files on Android deletes attachment inside of vault

Steps to reproduce

  1. Insert an attachment using the paper clip icon on Android, choose a file outside of the vault.
  2. Delete the file attached at its original location.
  3. Do something inside of Obsidian to get it to re-render the note.

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? Yes. All of this was performed on Android using a brand new vault with restricted mode on.

Expected result

I expected the note in Obsidian to continue to host the attachment and render it as it was before deleting the source file.

Actual result

The attachment is deleted both at the source and at the in-vault location, breaking the link in my note.

It turns out this was an issue with Google Photos specifically. This is a duplicate of How to deal with Google Photos on Android?.
