Dataview: Multiline inline fields not aligning with their single-line counterparts

What I’m trying to do

I’m trying to have my single-line fields line up with their multi-line counterparts in a dataview table. It seems that the problem exists only when multiple equations are kept in a single note.

Here’s what I have:

TABLE WITHOUT ID equation-name, equation, equation-note
FROM (#JLAECChemWinter24)
WHERE equation

and here’s what it looks like (I delineated where I’d like the line cutoffs to be)

Things I have tried

I’ve searched in the forums but haven’t found anything. I think the fix will likely be a CSS snippet but I’m not sure. I haven’t tinkered much with it myself, seeing as I haven’t been able to find anything so far on the forums.

Please how us your markup for those equations, as that most likely has to be changed in order for the elements to align.
