Use case or problem

A simple minimalist customizable website and pages protected by password.

Proposed solution

Either enable the customizable publish.css or provide a site or page preview option, so that we do not have to publish the whole site without any protection temporarily.

Not necessarily. I am not asking a solution that has to enable publish.css. The feature to do any customization for password-protected site or even preview what it may look like if password is removed temorarily other than a plain template is not available. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks a lot for your consideration!
