I suggest there be a section in the settings to define custom LaTeX commands that apply to every file within the vault.
It is currently only possible by having a seperate file with custom commands, but it needs to be reloaded on every startup of obsidian and feels more like a “hack” than a real feature.

I support this request. It took me a while to realize I didn’t have to define commands in each note and that I could have a single note with all LaTeX definitions. The problem with that approach, though, it’s not fully working. For some reason, after restarting Obsidian some custom commands are not interpreted (you see the command rendered in red) even if I open my note with custom definitions and switch between Editor and View mode a few times. Notably, if I write a new formula using a custom command, it works just fine, but existing uses of that formula are still not interpreted. So it’s not like this is fully working even with this hack
