Custom hotkey for Open link under cursor to the right not working

Steps to reproduce

  • Clear the hotkey for “Open link under cursor in new tab”
  • Redefine the hotkey for “Open link under cursor to the right” as Command+Enter (for OSX).
  • Command+Enter+Click on a link

Expected result

The link opens to the right.

Actual result

The link opens as a new tab. See attached video.

Defining a custom hotkey for “Open link under cursor in new window” seems to have the same issue: it uses the default hotkey instead of the user defined hotkey.

What is this?
Hotkeys are keyboard-only, they are not mixed keyboard/mouse.
Maybe you are asking for “customizable mouse event modifiers”. Search/open a FR for that.
