Connection UI suggestion

Use case or problem

Current problem: Creating a connection requires trackpad (no keyboard shortcut) and requires clicking on a very small element in the screen.

Proposed solution

1 - Ability to click anywhere (perhaps with a keyboard modifier)
2 - Keyboard shortcut to create a child node or sibling node

E.g.

• Fold/unfold nodes (⌘⇧←)
• Create child node (Return)
• Create sibling node (tab)
• Move node above/below ⌘ ↑/↓
• Move node up/down a level of hierarchy ⌘←/ →
• Select/focus different nodes (Arrow keys)
• Reveal full text/notes attached to node in sidebar: ⌘5

Agreed - the gold standard for this to emulate is Mindnode IMO.
