After a while, the Confirm file deletion setting turns off automatically.
I’m not doing anything special… I just use the obsidian.
Can you provide reproduceble steps?

Well, it’s a silly one.
I have a hotkey for deleting a file - the confirmation pops up and I press enter. This action will trigger “Delete and don’t ask again” (the first option)
I have to use Tab key, so the second option will be selected…
There’s a feature request to fix that bad design, which you can upvote: Delete and don't ask again should have checkbox to change setting
