Hi. I tested the CSS code from the thread below and it worked in reading mode. The good thing about reading mode is that in source mode you could write any number to denote ordered list item. This is useful if you use commands Move line up/down to reorder list items. I use ⌥↑ and ⌥↓ keyboard shortcuts to move line up/down.
I did have a solution working a while ago that uses a {a} to define it that level was a,b,c… or {I} if it was I, ii, iii, iv… but is seems to have ground to a halt…
Ok. I think the said solution should be fine since normally you don’t want use custom syntax in your notes since your notes are in markdown format which is supported widely in many platforms. If you want to customise list markers on file by file basis then you might want to consider using another document writing software (Pages, Word etc). In Obsidian you are supposed to write and not care about formatting too much.
