BlockQuote inside of Unordered List not rendering properly

Hi folks,

I moved over from Roam not so long ago, and one of the biggest gripes is that blockquotes inside of unordered lists are not showing up in edit mode.

I found this thread which spelled it out, and it appears it was forwarded to devs but doesn’t appear it was resolved.

Syntax highlighting is broken for block quotes in bulleted lists

Steps to reproduce Create a block quote (put > at the start of the line). Observe that in the editor view, the quoted text is highlighted. Now make the block quote part of a bulleted list (put a - before the >). To be clear, it looks pretty good in READING view:

But it does not display in EDITING view (which I’m in 100% of the time).

I should probably also add that a blockquote shows up just fine on its own line in EDITING view.

Editor/Live Preview: Support quotes/quotation in list items

Are >quotes supposed to work in Lists in LP? In Reader mode they render in the quote styling but in LP they just stay showing the “>” in front of the quoted text. Here is what I mean. LP vs Reader view. The list item doesn’t render the quote in LP (first screenshot).
