Automation in Obsidian

Dears
Lets assume that I have a diary with automated creation of daily files containing

Diary

QRQC

  • [[QRQC]]

Projects

QRQC is a daily meeting with following notes’ structure:

# 2020-08-13
- project notes
- actions
- urgent
-

# 2020-08-12
- project notes
- actions
- urgent
-

# 2020-08-11

QUESTION:

Is it possible to have an automation on the level of Daily Diary file that embed QRQC has a “jump” to diary file: [[QRQC#2020-08-12]]

How to automate this date inside of QRQC redirecting that during daily diary file creation this date is changed to current one?

Many thanks for you suggestions!

M

If I understand the issue correctly, most users accomplish this with alternative text expansion tools right now. Espanso is popular across platforms, AutoHotKey is popular on Windows, and Keyboard Maestro and Alfred are celebrated for Mac.

I was searching for this and thinking if someone can guide us how to connect https://ifttt.com/ to Obdidian.md

I know IFTTT can connect to Evernote and wish the same for Obsidian.

Only via e.g., Dropbox. Create an Obsidian Vault pointing at a folder in your Dropbox account, and then you can create actions like “When a new tweet from @ryanjamurphy is published, save it as a .md file in my Vault’s Twitter folder.”
