Use case or problem

I would like to right-click on a file in outgoing link search to quickly rename an attachment file, but it would open in a new pane. I can edit the name in header bar there but isn't it more convenient to rename after the right-click without opening a new pane.

Proposed solution

I would love to right-click on a file in search to edit right away instead of opening a new pane

I have the same need for renaming attachments. I wonder if you have found some ways to do this
