[android 9] obsidian black screen after upgrade to 1.7.4

Upgrading obsidian 1.6.7 to 1.7.4 led to an unusable app on my android phone: at startup the app only show a black screen.

I followed these guidelines but this did not solve my problem.

I use no plugin. Renaming the vault folder and moving its .obsidian subfolder did not help.

Reinstalling obsidian 1.6.7 (apk found on github repo) worked though.

Install obsidian 1.7.4 from android play store.

Run the updated version of the app.

Got a unusable black screen.

I don’t know where to find a log file, but if you can provide me with its path, I can attach it here.

Sorry, We don’t support lineageos.

You can try to update Android webview and see if it helps.

I have the same issue, also on Android 9, but no LineageOS. It’s a phone without PlayStore, but as the OP has the PS the more likely candidate is Android 9.
