A simple workaround for exporting to Microsoft Word

You can mess around with pandoc and install the Pandoc Export plugin or you export your Markdown document as a PDF, then open it in Word. Boom. You’re done. Word automatically handles the conversion from PDF to DOCX.

I have done this dozens of times, and it always works great.

Note that I’m creating simple documents. Online articles with simple, embedded images. If you’re doing anything fancy, it might not work.

You my friend are awesome!!! Thank you for the tip, worked like a charm

Thanks, this helps!

Word of warning for the future inquirers — MS Word messed up my unordered lists, but the document was luckliy not too long, so I fixed it manually.

A lot of time saved anyway!
