A bug in Obsidian OUtliner?

What I’m trying to do

I use the Obsidian Outliner plug-in extensively.
Shift-enter normally generates a new, unbulleted line at the indent level of the note above. Now, however, shift-enter simply generates a new unindented unbulleted line. This is a bummer. How can I rectify this?

Things I have tried

I’ve toggled fetures in the plug-in, searched guidance from the Git Hub site, enteres a note suppoting a months-old bug report on the same issue there, and updated everything.

Mac OS 15.3
Minimal Theme 7.7.18
Obsidian 1.8.4

I don’t know, but I know a bug report was recently opened where it seems shift-enter changed in behaviour. (I don’t know any details. It might be related to your issue.)

Shift+Enter no longer creates new line without moving cursor

Steps to reproduce Be in version 1.8.3 of Obsidian (for broken behaviour) or version <1.7.7 (for intended behaviour) Be in a note editor with your cursor on an empty line Press Shift+Enter Expected result A newline to be created, while the cursor remains in the same location.
