Zotero Integration for Twitter Posts: Error retrieving item data: not found

What I’m trying to do

I’m saving items from Zotero to Obsidian and most of them work (thanks to @Feralflora’s awesome template). Alas, I get the following error (this one for a Moses Kagan Tweet):

“Error retrieving item data: not found: moseskagan(moseskagan] HowRaiseMoney2023”

Things I have tried

I updated both betterbibtex and zotero integration and tried several templates. It seemed to be working for a moment but today maybe something changed behind the scenes.

His template is here: Zotero import template for the Zotero integration plugin for Obsidian. Screenshots and usage guide over in the Obsidian forum here (somewhat outdated guide): https://forum.obsidian.md/t/zotero-integration-import-templates/36310/105?u=feralflora · GitHub

Hi @datu, glad you liked my template. However, based on the error message, this doesn’t seem to be related to my template.

Does it only occur with tweets?

One thing I noticed is that those citekeys look pretty strange. Is that the intended format? Have you edited your Better Bibtex citekey formula?

Btw, there’s been a new release of Zotero Integration (version 3.1.8) since you made this post, which resolves some issues related to citekeys

Have you tried version 3.1.8 of Zotero Integration? If not, can you give it a shot?

Hi FeralFlora, been using your amazing template since a year now, thank you so much for your work.

I also had the same issue as datu with import but with pubmed pdfs. The issue was resolved after updating Zotero Integration and BetterBibTex in Zotero.

Hi @Laufey, thanks for the feedback, I’m very glad to hear that.

Thanks for sharing. Hopefully, this works for @datu as well.
