Community Directory: Ledgr - Obsidian Plugin

Ledgr is a personal finance plugin that lives entirely inside your vault. No accounts, no subscriptions, no data leaving your device. All transactions are plain Markdown, queryable with Dataview, readable without the plugin.

I built this for my own use. Wanted to track my finances without leaving Obsidian or signing up for another app. Figured someone else might find it useful too. Cheers!

What it does:

Dashboard: monthly cash flow, savings rate gauge, category breakdown, 6-month trend
Net Worth: bank accounts, investments, and liabilities across multiple currencies
Statements: Income Statement, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet with K/M/B formatting
Liability Tracker: log loan payments with live balance preview, due-date reminders
Savings Goals: progress bar, projected completion date, linked account
The Bearing: a financial health index (0–100) built from six behavioral pillars. Shows your standing without exposing any monetary amounts. Shareable as a card
Transfer Tracker: (opt-in) log international transfers with fee and rate tracking
Monthly Review + Wrapped: generate summary notes for any month or year

Multi-currency: set a base currency and secondary currencies. Works for any country, any currency pair.

Data format: transactions are Markdown table rows with Dataview inline fields. You can query them like any other note.

Works on desktop and mobile.
