Steps to reproduce
In sandbox create new note
type a header
type a checkbox manually, or enter it via Control-L
label the checkbox “a”
hit return
move the cursor next to the “a” label and delete it
move the cursor to the following line
select the now unlabeled checkbox and the header
copy to the clipboard
paste 3 or 4 times
now, in read mode, select the first checkbox
both the first and second checkboxes become checked

I can’t reproduce this behavior with just checkboxes, just checkboxes with headers between them.
