What I’m trying to do
For a long time, I synced my Obsidian notes via iCloud, but recently switched to using Obsidian’s native Sync service. Overall, it works better but I miss my integration with the Drafts app. Before, I could easily append notes from Drafts directly into my Daily Note in Obsidian with the push of a button. It was quick, easy, and frictionless to quick add info into my Obsidian daily note without having to open Obsidian. This doesn’t seem possible to do with things set up in Obsidian Sync, and I just wanted to see if anyone had any more insight into that (maybe I’m missing something and it is possible?) or good workarounds.
Things I have tried
I’m not sure there is much I can try. I’ve tried resetting up the Drafts integration with Obsidian, but it seems like it can’t be done because of the folder structure that Sync creates. The best workaround I’ve found yet is to just quick add my notes to a daily note in Drafts (it’s still faster and easier to get to at a moment’s notice vs. Obsidian) and then just cut and paste my notes from there to Obsidian at the end of the day.
