In Windows with tablet mode active (eg using a Surface Pro with the keyboard disconnected), look at a note with an unlinked mention, for instance one titled “Test” in the sandbox vault. Hover the cursor over the unlinked mention in the Backlinks view.

I noticed awhile back that certain highlight elements on (other) buttons don’t get rendered in tablet mode. I didn’t realize that whole buttons disappear!
ok, then this is a windows problem (or chrome/electron problem) on how these devices are interpreted by the OS when they are docked/undocked. It should be the same.
yeah, that’s what i was thinking. but nothing like this happens for other electron apps like vscode, so i’m unsure what’s causing it here. (i didn’t show it in the video, but window elements like the minimize/maximize/close buttons don’t get highlighted on hover when in tablet mode in obsidian, though they do in other apps)
