Steps to reproduce
- Be on Windows version
- Be at a monitor which supports HDR? (Samsung Odyssey G9 here)
- Open a note with just text
- Open a note with a transparent PNG
- Compare the brightness of the two (physically, i.e. impossible to screenshot. I could provide photos if you really want, but it’s not hard to reproduce.)
Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? [Y/N]
Yes.
Expected result
- The application window should be consistently the same brightness regardless of which note I am viewing. Actually, the brighter window is much easier to read.
Actual result
- Some notes cause the application window to become brighter
- Some notes cause the application window to become darker
The constant flipping back and forth between brightness levels is causing some amount of eye strain as my eyes adjust to the new brightness each time it happens.
