The canvas is a simple whiteboard for organizing concepts or ideas. However, for more complex instructions, tools like Miro or Excalidraw are necessary. Mind mapping, which organizes information, significantly benefits from the ability to expand and collapse sections, a feature not available in canvas, where adjustments must be made manually one by one, which is very inconvenient. In this regard, Heptabase performs much better than Obsidian.
