I have just discovered Obsidian a week or two ago and I’m fascinated by the possibilities.
Today I wondered where the name came from and I found the old thread about crystallized lava etc Why is Obsidian named so? - #10 by KuraFire
Before I found the thread I thought maybe because with everything we do inside of Obsidian or when customizing and administering it, the vault and information it contains becomes more powerful - comparable to chipping off pieces from a raw Obsidian rock that is being turned into a sharp blade. That’s at least how I see it.
