I was wondering while setting my templates: why should I use nested tags instead of one-by-one-tags system?
Personal preference really. While the tags are obviously longer, having say, #Coding/Python, #Coding/PowerShell #Coding/GoLang would allow you to quickly find all references to each of the tags, you could also look for #Coding to see notes about all three at once.
If you feel your some of your tags might naturally fall into a hierarchical structure, then this might be the right approach, if not, no need to explore it further. You can always come back to it later. The Tag Wrangler plugin helps you with some err… Tag wrangling context menus etc. as well as the ability to, for example, rename #Python to #Coding/Python to implement a hierarchy if/when you decide you need it.
