Why all these empty folders?

What I’m trying to do

I just signed up for 1GB Sync, and don’t understand what all these empty folders are.

Things I have tried

I have deleted the old sync folder from trying to implement Remotely Saved plugin. I also got warnings about Dropbox syncing conflicts.

1GB does not sound like much storage. I turned off downloading all attachments for fear of breaching this low limit. What I also don’t understand is, why would I want all the Obsidian settings to be synced, when I am using default setup on the mobile phones. Can someone give me the scoop on managing 1GB Sync, and how stay under this limit.

Something is not right. You may have selected one folder as your vault on one device and the PARENT of that folder on another devices and you are creating an infinite recursion.

Do you suggest I start over and then copy back my .MD files?

Is there a practical guide ?

I suggest you make a backup of your notes and start fresh.

Do not mix obsidian sync with other sync solutions.
