This is a new item.
How can I implement this? Why is this possible in a regular text file, but still not implemented here, although they promised that they would add the function to version 1.8.8
Thank you, I was extremely surprised. I use the Russian interface and in the Russian version this item also appears, but it is called completely differently:
Indentations for lists: Automatically adds indents and tags for lists.
In any case, thanks for the answer. And localizers need to somehow translate the settings items more clearly.
I turned off this option and my behavior did not change. But I remember that I once installed a third-party plugin to sort the list. I decided to disable this plugin and I got everything I wanted. Thanks to those who did not leave me in trouble and helped. God bless you, friends.
p.s. the plugin that was interfering and which I disabled is called: Outliner
