When using share to Obsidian make it easier to create new note

Use case or problem

When I use “share to Obsidian” option on mobile, I just want to drop the shared text in my vault as quickly as possible. I also usually don’t want to insert shared text into any existing note, I want to create a new note, because it is easier for me to manage later. But currently Obsidian doesn’t let me do it easily.

When we share some text to Obsidian, we get a menu with three options: add to current file, add to today’s daily note or choose a file. If I want to create a new note for the shared text, I must select “Choose a file” and then type some new unique name for a note to make sure the text doesn’t accidentaly get pasted into some already existing file. It is rather inconvenient. When I share some text I don’t want to think about the note name and don’t want to have to type anything. I just want to create a new unnamed note, drop text into it and go on my way.

Proposed solution

Add the fourth option to the share menu, called “Create new note”. It should just create a new unnamed note in the inbox folder, just like when we use create note command from the app, and insert shared text into it. It would make adding shared text much faster, no need to type or search for anything.

Current workaround (optional)

None so far, I just have to type the name of the new note every time or paste into a daily note, which I don’t find convenient.
