  • For example “- [text](note 1)” should open “note 1.md” instead of creating “- [text](note 1).md”.

  • and also: When full path is pasted to quick-switcher and corresponding file belongs to current vault, then open it in Obsidian as if just it’s filename was put in quick-switcher.

use cases

  • easier navigation e.g. when manually copying whole line (containing link) from other application.
  • copying path in Windows file explorer e.g. by “Path Copy Copy” and opening it in Obsidian
