When drag dropping file/folder in Explorer, expand destination folder upon hover

For some reason I only recently realized it is possible to long hold a file or folder then drag and drop it into another folder in the Explorer pane. So, while I am really loving being able to use this, I also would find it useful not to have to preemptively expand folders so as to reveal the destination folder to move something into. It would seem intuitive that when drag dropping something into an unexpanded folder, hovering over it would eventually expand it, allowing you to continue digging in using this same technique on sub folders.

Thanks!

I came here to post this, would love to see this. Very useful for those of us with some subfolder organizations.

This is how the file manager on MacOS works. It’s really quite handy.

Looks like we added this functionality to Bookmarks and other tree views but never added it to the file explorer. We’ll add this in a future update!
