Whea_uncorrectable_error

Using Windows 10
Obsidian v1.0

I was using Obsidian and suddenly Windows came up with WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR and the computer restarted.
When I opened Obsidian after the restart my note in Obsidian was replaced with the word ‘null’ repeated in red for four and a half lines (see picture). My computer has never done this before using it for 2+ years. Ive been using Obsidian for a few months with no issues until this. I only updated to 1.0 about a week ago.

I had a few other programs open at the time so not sure if the other programs were part of the cause, or had too many things open but I was using Obsidian at the time it happened and pretty sure I was typing in a note at the time.

Steps to reproduce

Im not sure how it happened I think I was just typing in an Obsidian file

Additional information

This is an OS problem. Nothing we can do about your computer crashing.
You can see if an earlier version of your note can be recovered with the File Recovery Plugin. Settings>File Recovery.
I also suggest to download and reinstall obsidian.

Ok I will reinstall. I found there is a windows update I can do so Im going to do that also. Should I uninstall Obsidian before I reinstall sorry if a dumb question.

no you don’t need to uninstall, just download and run the installer
