Webclipper 0.11.7 Interpreter page not working on Safari 18.4

Hello,
I’m trying to use the interpreter in WebClipper and the page remains greyed out when I toggle the “Enable Interpreter” button. Ic cannot enter or select anything.
Something I’m doing wrong?
Thanks!

I can activate the 2 toggle buttons but the +Add Provider an + Add Model buttons do not do anything.

Hi Vincent,

You will need to add at least one Provider and Model for your Interpreter to work.

My latest video on Web Clipper may be of some assistance although I use PC not a Mac.

See if you can replicate your issue with another browser if you think it may be a Safari related bug

Hi Paul,
I was indeed following your YT video (great stuff by the way!) in Safari but Even after turning the interpreter button on, click on the Add Provider wasn’t doing anything. It may have something to do with opening an in-browser window, I don’t know. I tried with Chrome, which isn’t my default browser, and it worked just fine. I guess I’ll use Chrome whenever I want to clip something. Annoying but worth it to be able to leverage the interpreter.
Many thanks for your response.
Kind regards
Vincent

Hi Vincent,

Which provider are you using?

Can you post a screenshot of your Provider Only settings?

If possible could you please share your Console Errors also

Exact the same issue here, only in Safari.

I’m having the same issue with the webclipper on safari. Trying to add the model doesn’t do anything. Can provide a recording of the issue if necessary.
