I am looking for a web clipper that is privacy respecting and works locally? I used to use Joplin Web clipper, I liked it a lot so I am looking for something like that. I will be using it on Win and Linux

Omnivore can be self hosted but it offers device sync, see Omnivore.

Open source, local, and integrated with Obsidian.

This does not look integrated into Obsidian directly. I am looking for a clipper that can clipper to Obsidian directly.

Website URL

Will be parsed to readable form using Mozilla Readability and then converted to markdown. In case website content is marked by Readbility as not readable, empty note with URL will be created.

If enabled, images will be downloaded to folder (default is ReadItLater Inbox/assets) configured in plugin settings. (Supported only on desktop for now)
