I assume you are syncing your Obsidian vault across multiple PCs?
From what I can tell, all the settings for your vault are stored in the .obsidian folder, inside your vault folder. You might not see it, because the folder name starts with a dot.
If you do not sync this folder, things including your settings will not sync. Your notes should still sync, though.
Do you know if you have been syncing the .obsidian folder, along with the rest of your notes? If not, that could explain the issue.
