Steps to reproduce
- enable “Vim key bindings” in Obsidian settings
- create a new document and insert a few empty lines
- go to the first line and go to vim insert mode with “i” key and type something, use backspace and dead key accents (i.e. é, ó, ú, etc.)
- leave vim insert mode with escape
- move to next line and press period
.key to repeat what you typed above - the line is repeated completely wrong
Example:
Aquí hay mucho que ver!
turns out as:
Aqu’í hay muicAqu’í hay mucho que ver!

Yes.
Expected result
An exact repetition of what has been entered.
Actual result
Letters with accents seem to be prepended with an apostroph and using backspace results in scrambled text.
