Vim mode: The vim command-line opens inside of tables

Steps to reproduce

After you enable the Vim key bindings in Settings>Editor:

  1. Create a new note
  2. Insert a table (right click>Insert>Table)
  3. Hit the colon key : to open the vim command-line. (make sure the cursor is inside of the table.)

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? [Y/N]

Yes.

Expected result

I expected the command-line to open at the bottom of the editor’s view.

Actual result

The command-line opens inside of the table for some reason?

thanks

You’re welcome.

I also observed this.

Interestingly, the command seems to only apply within that table cell. E.g. I tried a global replace, but it only affected contents of that cell.
