What I’m trying to do
Hi! ’m not entirely sure this is the right place to ask — feel free to redirect me if not. I’ve been using Obsidian daily for a few months now, and my vault is starting to get to a point where I’m losing clarity. It’s getting dense. Links alone aren’t really working. I’m seeing clusters form, but not always meaningful entry points. Some older notes also don’t really fit how I think about things now. Do I need to introduce higher-level structure (e.g. MOCs/index notes/thematic hubs, etc.), or will coherence just emerge on its own as I continue to go? If there are any essays, forum threads, videos, or long-form writeups that deal with this, I’d really appreciate pointers. Thanks in advance.
Things I have tried
I’ve experimented with a few approaches already — mostly relying on links and letting clusters emerge naturally. Then I tried light structure with a couple of index notes and naming conventions. That helped locally, but as the vault’s growing I’m still seeing areas that feel dense without clear entry points. So I’m a bit stuck.
