Using the workspace core plugin with a pop out crashes app

Steps to reproduce

Open a popout window with a page that is saved a workspace.
Activate the saved workspace.

Expected result

Popout closes and the workspace should be loaded.

Actual result

Popout closes but a white screen appears.

Environment

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Custom theme and snippets: for cosmetic issues, please first try updating your theme and disabling your snippets. If still not fixed, please try to make the issue happen in the Sandbox Vault or disable community theme and snippets.
Community plugins: for bugs, please first try updating all your plugins to latest. If still not fixed, please try to make the issue happen in the Sandbox Vault or disable community plugins.

I don’t understand. Post a screen recording of this happening in vault without custom themes or third party plugins.

For some reason, I can’t seem to replicate the issue now.

Hello @WhiteNoise ,

I think I’m getting the same/similar issue to Danny. I have a few different workspaces and recently been trying to use additional windows with Workspace Layouts.

The bug happens when I have 2 windows open and I switch to a save layout with 1 window. The main window goes blank and the majority of the UI is gone and the only way to get it back is to restart.
Quickly tested in the Sandbox vault and got the same result.

This happens 95% of the time. I think the only time it doesn’t happen is when I’m going from an unsaved 2 window layout to a saved 1 window layout, but I’m not sure of that.
