I’m considering setting up a vault to act as the local copy of the source code for a repository I’m still in the very early stages of developing. This is mostly so that I can keep in order my first drafts’ folders and structure, as this is my first independent project.
I’m just interested in the community’s opinion on whether or not this practice is a) worthwhile as a beginner or would it become just one more backup for me to keep up with and b) conducive to eventually being uploaded as the source code on a collaborative site in the future. Would it be more helpful to be to upload files as I go onto a site like gitlab/hub and receive ongoing feedback or should I more firmly have the kinks of my code worked out (which I’d do in Obsidian) before posting there?
