I want to work in a distributed team with Sync and Claude MCP, such that the Vault is synced but the MCP preferences are not.
Things I have tried
I can sync the Vault between computers without problems, but if I set up Claude MCP on both, it over-rides elements of the content of the .Obsidian configs in the Vault, which is also synced. I thought I could have a separate sync folder on each computer, but these also write into the Vault. Ideally I would have the Config folder OUTSIDE the Vault folder (I have several Vaults which I need to share with different teams. Over-ride prompts you to name the folder, but not the path to folder - the config address must start with a dot and is in each Vault. This would allow each team member to set up their own Claude MCP relationship.

Is it possible to have multiple vaults that use a common config? like this where the configs are in .WebberSync
