I use Espanso.
I have an expansion called e-edit… Which opens
subl to edit the Espanso confog files,
Then another expansion to make a new entry.
Hook needs A LOT more attention.
Want to reference a file to someone? Hook to that file on the server, create a hook file and send it to them over WhatsApp or whatever
