I’m trying to use links to other and one software requires spaces in the link.
Example:
[logos](logosres:esv;ref=Bible.1 Corinthians2.1)
The link will result in the following effectively.
logos Corinthians2.1)

Do you mean include space in link?
If this is what you mean, then try:
[logos](logosres:esv;ref=Bible.1%20Corinthians2.1)
(replace space with %20 )
