URI handler no longer activating Minimized Obsidian windows (Windows) [Revised]

Steps to reproduce

  1. In the sandbox vault with no plugins or snippets, Copy the Obsidian URL from any page.
    • Option: Do or do not navigate to a different window.
  2. Minimize the Obsidian window (Edit: Added step on 04-Nov-2024)
  3. Paste this URL into a browser’s address bar and hit Enter
    • Browsers tested: Chrome, Vivaldi, Edge, Firefox.
    • Option: In Windows, attempt to Run the URL.
  4. If prompted, accept the request to open Obsidian

Yes

Expected result

Obsidian opens the corresponding page in the corresponding vault and activates the window (brings it to the front of other applications).

Actual result

Obsidian opens the corresponding page in the corresponding vault and does not activate the window.

Well, shoot. It’s probably a problem with my device, then. OK to close this bug report.

@WhiteNoise, can you reproduce the issue if you minimize the Obsidian vault window before using the Obsidian link?

Apologies for omitting that step originally. Minimizing windows is second nature to me, so I did not even think about it as a step in the process. When I navigate away from Obsidian instead of minimizing it, the window does activate as expected. When the window is minimized, the Obsidian link does not restore it to an active, visible state.
