My goal with using this plugin was having all my Anki german vocabulary flashcards synced with my Obsidian notes, so I could see all my german-related things in one place (Obsidian). Because of the use case, I’ve been using the inline flashcard style (question::answer) instead of the tag one, to save space and not get big notes.
Things I have tried
I tried searching online but it seems that most people use the other flashcards to anki plugin which means that outside of the official documentation, which didn’t solve my problem, nothing worked.
Currently, I can create a new deck with flashcards just fine, but after that deck is created, if I modify or add any new flashcards in that obsidian note and run the command it will not update.
For example, if I make something like:
froh::happy
And run the plugin, it’ll work. But if i change that flashcard in obsidian to:
happy::froh
It won’t update in anki, even if i have the browse window closed like the documentation says. Anf, if I add a new flashcard:
happy::froh
sky::Himmel
And run the plugin, it’ll just not any the new flashcard. I’ve tried restarting anki, obsidian, the plugin, and even deleting and creating a new note, but it doesnt work.
