I see there is a more recent version of the mobile app than the one I have (1.4.1 iOS). It’s described as an “insider’s build.”

I was under the impression that apps are updated automatically when a new version is released.

What I’m trying to do

I’m definitely not an “insider.” Is an “insider’s build” something like a beta? Should I be patient and wait for its release to the general user community?

Insider build is for people who pay for a Catalyst license. Without a Catalyst license, yes you have to wait for it to be released generally, later.

Yes, the Insider builds are like betas.
