Unwanted popup when inserting template

The documentation of Templates on the Obsidian help site says:

If your template folder contains only one note, Templates inserts it directly into the active note.

That is very convenient, but does not actually happen. Even if there is only a single note in the template folder I am still shown the selector and have to click on the single option before the template is inserted.

Steps to reproduce

• Create a template folder with only a single note in it.
• Set that template folder in the settings for templates.
• Click on “Insert template” icon in the ribbon

Expected result

I expected the template to be inserted directly, as stated in the documentation.

Actual result

There is a popup window with a single option that I need to click before the template is inserted.

If your template folder contains only one note, Templates inserts it directly into the active note.

It looks like the documentation here is out of date. It is no longer expected that “Insert template…” automatically inserts the text when you only have one template.
