Steps to reproduce

  • Have Note A contain the following text [[Note B | B]].
  • Open Note B.
  • Open the Backlinks panel > Unlinked mentions

Expected result

  • I would expect to see Note A under linked mentions and nothing under unlinked mentions.

Actual result

Note A appears under Linked mentions AND unlinked mentions for Note B.

This appears to be because of the trailing whitespace in the link. It doesn’t happen if the link is [[Note B|B]].

  • Operating system: MacOS
  • Obsidian version: 0.8.0
