First of all—Bases is really cool! However, I noticed that Ctrl+Z (Windows) / Cmd+Z (Mac) doesn’t seem to work for me in Bases. If this feature doesn’t exist yet, I’d like to request it.
Almost every app or software for editing or managing documents includes undo functionality. It’s really useful when you make a mistake while adding, removing, filtering, or editing something. For example, in Google Sheets (and pretty much any modern application), you can undo these actions instantly, which prevents data loss and reduces frustration.
I think Bases would benefit greatly from having a similar feature. Thank you very much for your work!
Use case or problem
When making edits in Bases (e.g., adding, deleting, filtering, adjusting data), there’s currently no way to undo mistakes. This creates extra work if something is removed or changed accidentally.
Proposed solution
Add undo/redo functionality (Ctrl+Z / Cmd+Z and Ctrl+Shift+Z / Cmd+Shift+Z) to Bases.
This would align Bases with user expectations from other productivity tools and reduce errors or lost work.
Current workaround
Currently, the only workaround is to manually redo the previous state, which is time-consuming and error-prone.
